A half-smoked cigar of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was sold at auction in the US for more than 12 thousand dollars, according to the auction house RR Auction.
It is noted that the politician smoked a cigar on May 11, 1947 at the Le Bourget airport in Paris. The artifact was preserved by the efforts of one of the crewmembers of the plane, on which Churchill flew.
On the ten-centimeter remnant of the cigar, a red-and-gold parcel with its name, which includes the name of the prime minister himself, was preserved: La Corona / Winston Churchill. Seetheselectionofphotos.
