A fortnight ago (on the night of 14th of February), something unusual happened over Hawaii: a strange ray of light that is clearly visible on a video that appeared on YouTube. The Gemini Observatory captured the anomaly. First, there were a few beige spots over the Mauna Kea volcano. A few bright clouds could be seen behind the mountain.
