In Ireland, the educational institutions were closed because of the approaching storm “Ophelia”

“In connection with the impending storm of Ophelia, the Ministry of Education and Skills informs all schools, colleges and other educational institutions that they will be closed on Monday, October 16,” the ministry said in a statement.
According to the warning text published on the website of the National Meteorological Service, the red danger level was announced in the counties of Galway, Mayo, Cork and Kerry.
