2014 Ford Focus Estate Review

Steering wheel and driver’s seat arrangements are in accordance, to bestow the stunning comfort all in all. Orderly arranged pedal box compliments the convenience immensely. But there is one drawback i.e. the dashboard is filled, with improperly arranged confusing controls, and the vision above the shoulder height is not clear as well.
There is sufficient space upfront, and the rear seats are comfy enough for 3 tiny children or two average adults. It does not contain the ample space like the Volkswagen Golf boot, but the space can be adjusted by laying down the rear seats flat, which allows more things to get adjusted inside the boot space.
You can find good essence of features in the starting variant, which contains DAB, Bluetooth and AC. If you need more features then you should choose the Titanium, which has got a classy stereo system that enhances the charm for sure. At the highest peak i.e. Titanium X; you will get hill-start follow up, cruise control, Dual zone climate control. There are some additional features, which can be selected if needed like lane-departure caveat, adaptive cruise control and the blind spot invigilate.
Starting variants come with 1.6 liter 16-valve 103bhp petrol engine, which are not speedy performers at all. Other option is 1.6 liter with 123bhp, but the most efficient in terms of economy and fuel consumption is the 1.6 liter 148bhp petrol engine. Diesel engines come with 1.6 liter 113bhp, which are beneficial, in terms of speed and economy both. You can upgrade your diesel engine to 2.0 liter model, which is also a prime performer, but the highly admired one diesel engine is 161bhp by all means.
It is geared up, to endow the pleasant driving experience, because its flawless steering control and sufficient grip make it the sovereign on roads. Low speed drive, may get found concrete, by some drivers, but all in all it gives the remarkable driving experience for sure.
Road noise is the only drawback, which needs to get refined; otherwise this car is designed completely, in accordance, to the urges of demos.
Resale value is not good, but it is good performer on roads by all means. The dashboard carries the trendy design with a delicate covering, but the plastic used at the central split and fascia at the centre is not that much eye catchy. All the models come with stability control feature. It has earned the five-star rating in the crash test of Euro NCAP.
