2014 Cadillac XTS Review

Not just the 2014 Cadillac XTS is bigger than the luxury brands CTS and ATS sport sedan but also has some appealing sets of priorities for those who always prefer to go with the best. And for those who give more preference to technology and comfort than performance, XTS is the best choice.
The smoother and softer Cadillac makes it the “grand luxury” car of the market. Although it appears like the boxed version of the other similar cars but the soft arched roofline and the smoothly styled sides makes it different. The exteriors are quite impressive too which you might co-relate with the Chevrolet impala and Buick Lacrosse. As per your expectation from Cadillac, the interior trim and the instrument panel is of the latest GM trim which offers soft detailing, sleek look loaded with smooth interior contouring.
Although it’s not entirely well-tuned sport car but is comfort oriented and athletic too. 3.6-litres V-6 of 304 horsepower along with the six speed automatic makes is predictable and smooth. But it will lack in the step up of the twin–power V-6 that is a turbocharged 3.6 litres of torque of 369 torque feet giving 410 horsepower that no one will want to leave. The peak torque of its engine starts from 1900 and so on.
The magneRide magnetic ride control along with the well tuned suspension and air spring is what makes the XTS isolated and composed. It keeps the mirror harshness out and crispier responses than any other comfy car.
The cabin is quite. Quite a spacious car particularly the back seats are quite spacious. The legroom and the headroom are also quite roomy but it can be more improved.
In terms of safety, the 2014 XTS is set up with the safety tech packages. A system is there that can stop this car from about 20mph for reducing the pedestrian accidents.
The XTS instrument panel comprises of eight inch, full capacitive touch screen of similar to that of ipads. The dashboard is free of physical buttons, clean and of standard quality. In many of the XTS models, no real gauze present in place of which reconfigurable screen is provided.
The XTS is available in premium, plus in luxury and platinum collection versions. CUE accomplished in which the top two have premium audio and navigation too.
This car introduces the new rear-seat DVD infotainment system, with the foldable screen on the backside of the front seats. Radio control, sunshade control, wood trim, front seat memory feature and Intellibeam headlamps are the latest features.
