Jeep commander came as a mid-size SUV manufactured by Chrysler group. Designed by Donald A. Renkert, the car made by the Jeep division of the company hit the floors in 2006. This 4-door SUV was made as a substitute of Jeep Grand Cherokee third generation models. The car was box-like-shaped having three different four-wheel drive systems: Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II with impressive off-road drive. The Commander came in three trim levels of which the base level, Sport and mid-level Limited were available from 2006-2010 and the top-level Overland was available from 2007-2009. The 2006 version was very spacious going as per its predecessor. The 2007 model had the base-level trim name changed back to Sport and had some new additions like a flex-fuel version of the 4.7-liter V8, a power liftgate and a rearview camera.
