Mercury is a high-profit-giving division of Ford Motor Company which started making cars in the year 1938. Mercury sable is one of those cars coming as a mid-size or full-size class. It also became one of the best-selling and most important cars by Mercury. 2002-2003 Mercury Sable came in refreshed third generation as it was redesigned after the third generation models. The car came in two body styles, 4-door sedan and 5-door station wagon. The car won acclaim for its spacious trunk and traditional interiors. Built in Ford D186 platform, Sable added some extra equipment in 2002 such as power driver’s seat on the GS and a power moonroof on the LS. In 2004, Sable station wagon was discontinued.
