Mercury Grand Marquis was produced as the most important production of Mercury division from the Ford Motor Company. The car had a good life-line from 1983 to 2011. It came as a full-size luxury sedan with FR layout. 2002 Marquis marked as a third generation model as a 4-door sedan with 4.6 L SOHC V8 engine giving 220 hp. The 2003 Grand Marquis came as a fourth generation model with major updates especially in the exterior body like edgy looks. Interiors were more or less same with just new door panels and revised switchgear. This was the first time when the car came with a hood décor having the monogram of Mercury, ‘flying M’ on it and also factory two-tone paint.
