1999-2000 Oldsmobile Alero

A part of General Motors, Oldsmobile was one the oldest automobile brands in the world. Started by Ransom E. Olds as Olds Motor Vehicle Company in 1897, the company was sold to General Motors in 1908 to be renamed as Oldsmobile Division. Oldsmobile Intrigue is a compact car that came in two body styles, 2-door coupe and 4-door sedan. Manufactured from 1998 to 2004, Alero came as four trim levels- base GX, mid-level GL, high-level GLS and the best of all, GL trim with sub-sections named ad 1, 2 and 3. The first two trims consisted of standard dual camshaft 4-cylinder engine and the GLX trim worked with the V6 engine coming with 4-speed automatic transmission. The car came to be a really inspiring sports car for the rivals. The car scored poorly in IIHS safety rating though.
