Later in year 1864, this compact converted into a mid-size car. The 1970 Cutlass came in seven body styles: F-85 2-door sedan, 2-door hardtops in Cutlass Supreme and fastback Cutlass S and 442, 4-door hardtop, 4-door sedan, Vista Cruiser station wagon and a flat-top station wagon called Custom Cruiser. The 1971 model came with new grille and head and taillights and also four new exterior paint options. The 1972 model of Cutlass came as Cutlass Supreme as notchback hardtop and convertible. The base trim F-85 started being made as 1-door sedan and then later discontinued during 1972 only.
